Happy April 8th, otherwise known as Draw a Picture of a Bird Day, or Zoo Lover Day!
Kids love animals, and this is a great day for a fun activity to do with your special one(s). Have them draw a real bird from a photo or life, talking to them about the animal parts, and what makes our feathery friends so special. From forest-top nests to flight paths, the descendants of dinosaurs are fascinating!
After the kids have tried their hand at realism, have them create a crazy bird, using their imaginations and whatever glue-ables you like. It's a great way to keep energy levels high and teach during Spring Break, or any time at all!
