People often only look to the focus of the teaching (say, English practice), yet the benefits of working face to face with an experienced teacher are many. In addition to native-level language instruction, 1 on 1 training can give you confidence, build your language skills, and teach specialized sets of information, catered to you. Simply put, you are getting a language coach - and that’s not all.
A funny thing happens when you spend hours with someone working on your improvement. That person becomes more than a teacher; they listen to your thoughts, your problems, and offer guidance. They can become part therapist, part friend, and all that while developing your abilities. It’s a good deal, to be sure.
